Bob Arum is confident that his protege, Tyson Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion, will definitely face Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBO titles in the same division. He made this statement in an interview with the Boxing News channel on YouTube.

The well-known promoter reported that he thought the fight between Fury and Usyk would happen. He believed it would take place the following year, possibly in February, and considered it to be a good moment for the match.

Recall that earlier, the WBC announced that Fury has received special permission to fight against UFC star Francis Ngannou instead of a regular title defense. The fight will be official and will follow the rules of boxing. It is scheduled for October 28th in Saudi Arabia.

Usyk, on the other hand, will return to the ring on August 26th in Poland. He will be facing British boxer, Daniel Dubois.
