Andy Reid, the sixty-three-year-old head coach of Kansas City Chiefs, was urgently taken to hospital at the end of the game. He remained in the stadium up to the last minutes of the game and addressed his team after, but did not give any commentary to the press due to feeling sick.
According to the team, Reid showed no sign of health deterioration during the match-up and passed through the medical examination urgently in the locker room at the stadium which showed symptoms of severe dehydration.
For safety reasons, the coach was hospitalized. At the moment, it is reported that he remains in a non-life- or health-threatening condition and feels well, but will need to stay on his medical leave for some time.
