French forward Kylian Mbappé of Paris Saint-Germain has made a decision about the club he would like to continue his career with.
According to Le Parisien, the French striker intends to move to Real Madrid only this summer. It is noted that the departure of striker Karim Benzema to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad has greatly influenced the situation surrounding Mbappé.
Earlier, it was announced that Mbappé chose not to activate the automatic contract extension option with PSG for the 2024/25 season, which will allow the French forward to become a free agent in June 2024.
Recall that Mbappé was close to joining Real Madrid last year but decided to sign a new contract with PSG.
The forward moved to PSG in 2017. In the previous season of the French league, he played in 43 matches in all competitions, scoring 41 goals and providing 10 assists.
The 24-year-old footballer has become PSG’s all-time leading scorer and helped the team win the championship.
