Paris Saint-Germain’s forward Kylian Mbappe has made a definitive decision about his future in the Parisian club. This information is reported by Le Parisien.
According to the source, the forward has decided to stay with the team and not make a transfer elsewhere this summer. Mbappe met with PSG’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and informed him that he intends to fulfill his contract with the Parisians until the end.
It is noted that Mbappe assured the PSG president that he will not move to Real Madrid in the current summer transfer window and will remain in the Parisian club.
Earlier, Mbappe declined to use the option to extend his contract with PSG until 2025. Media reported that he would move to Real Madrid. In August, PSG removed posters of the forward from the façade of the Parc des Princes stadium and also withdrew jerseys with Mbappe’s name from the club shop. The Frenchman was also sent to train with “undesirable” players.
Recall, Mbappe joined PSG in 2017. As part of the Parisians, the forward became a five-time champion of France and won the country’s cup three times.
The contract of the 24-year-old Mbappe with PSG is set until 2024. In the previous season, he participated in 43 matches in all competitions, scoring 41 goals and providing 10 assists.
