The management of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is displeased with the behavior of their forward Neymar. The Brazilian player missed the championship match of the Parisians.
According to Goal, Neymar decided not to travel with the team for the Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg (1-1), in which PSG secured the championship and instead attended a showcase event of Formula 1 in Monaco.
The bosses of the Parisian team reacted negatively to Neymar’s actions and considered it a “provocation.”
Furthermore, Neymar was spotted at a poker tournament in Monte Carlo during PSG’s championship match in Ligue 1.
Earlier reports suggested that the forward is likely to leave PSG during the summer transfer window. His contract with the Parisians is valid until 2025.
Neymar has been playing for PSG since August 2017. In the 2022/23 season, the forward scored 18 goals and provided 17 assists in 29 matches for the team in all competitions. Currently, he is recovering from an ankle injury.
