Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Napoli’s standout player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to the reputable Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The French giants are said to have offered Kvaratskhelia a five-year contract with an annual salary of €7.5 million.
Napoli, however, is not letting go of their star easily. The Italian club demands a hefty transfer fee of €130 million for Kvaratskhelia. In response, Napoli is attempting to secure the Georgian winger’s future at the club by proposing a new contract. They are offering a three or four-year deal with an annual salary increase to €5 million, up from his current €1.5 million per year, along with a release clause set at €120 million.
The ongoing negotiations highlight Kvaratskhelia’s rising value and the significant interest he has attracted from top European clubs. It remains to be seen whether PSG can meet Napoli’s financial demands or if the Italian club will succeed in extending their star player’s contract.
