The 16-year-old talent from Barcelona made history in the Champions League. Lamin Yamal, the forward of Catalonia’s Barcelona, achieved a unique feat in the Champions League.

The 16-year-old winger made an assist in the 6th round match of the group stage against “Antwerp,” becoming the youngest player in Champions League history to make a decisive play in the tournament.

Yamal provided an assist to Ferran Torres in the 35th minute, equalizing the score. However, Barcelona ended up losing the match (2:3).

In October, Yamal became the youngest goal scorer in the history of the Spanish football championship, as well as the youngest debutant and goal scorer in the history of the Spanish national team.

Despite the defeat, Barcelona advanced to the Champions League playoffs.
