“Chelsea” lost away to “Wolverhampton” (1:2) in the 18th round of the English Premier League.

The scorers for the winners were Mario Lemina (51st minute) and Matt Doherty (90+3rd minute). Meanwhile, in the losing team, Christopher Nkunku scored one goal (90+6th minute).

According to Daily Mail, in the last match, “Chelsea” players received six yellow cards, and according to the EPL regulations, the London club will be fined.

Disciplinary measures are taken against a club if six or more of its players are cautioned or sent off in a match classified as category 1 or 3.

Conor Gallagher, Cole Palmer, Malo Gusto, Nicolas Jackson, Raheem Sterling, and Marcus Bettinelli received cautions. Interestingly, the last one received a yellow card outside the field.

In October, “Liverpool” received a similar punishment for the undisciplined behavior of its players and was fined £25,000.

“Chelsea” is currently in the tenth position in the league table, gathering 22 points. The next EPL game for Mauricio Pochettino’s team will be played at home against “Crystal Palace” on December 27th.
