Real Madrid management has suspended talks on the transfer of Borussia midfielder Jude Bellingham.

According to the AS publication, the transfer amount for Bellingham this year is likely to exceed 100 million euros, forcing Real Madrid to treat the deal with caution. There is a possibility that the transfer will not take place until the summer of 2024 when the transfer amount will drop significantly.

The player was supposed to have a meeting with the club’s management to discuss his plans for the future, but the meeting never took place. It is reported that Bellingham is in no hurry to decide on his future at Borussia, although the club had hoped to sell the midfielder this summer.

It is noted that neither Real Madrid nor Liverpool, who are also showing interest in the player, have submitted official offers.

This season, Bellingham has scored four goals and given four assists in 21 Bundesliga games.

Recall that in January the International Sports Research Center named Bellingham the most expensive footballer in the world, estimating his transfer value at 208.2 million euros.

It is noteworthy that another authoritative portal Transfermarkt valued the Englishman at 110 million euros. Billingham is in fourth place here, behind Kylian Mbappe (180 million), Erling Haaland (170 million), and Vinicius Júnior (120 million).
