The authoritative portal football-observatory.com (CIES) has released its annual ranking of the most expensive players in the world.
The International Sports Research Center on the basis of its own statistical model data provided an estimated cost of more than 30 thousand players in 75 leagues of the world.
It is noted that the estimated transfer value of players is calculated according to the economic algorithm CIES.
The most expensive, according to the portal, is an Englishman Jude Bellingham, who plays for Borussia Dortmund. The German club, according to football-observatory, could potentially earn €208 million for the 19-year-old player. It is noteworthy that France forward Kylian Mbappe is ranked third and Manchester City forward Erling Haaland of Norway is ranked fifth.
