On the night of May 6 to 7 in Guadalajara (Mexico) the big boxing evening will take place and the main event will be the fight between the local boxer, reigning world champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, and the Briton John Ryder.
Saul Alvarez had 62 fights in his professional career and scored 58 wins (39 KOs) and two losses. Two more fights ended in draws. In his last fight, the Mexican defeated Gennady Golovkin of Kazakhstan.
John Ryder had 32 wins and five losses in the professional ring. In his last fight, the Briton defeated Zack Parker because of an injury to his opponent’s arm, which made him unable to continue the fight.
