Kazakh boxer Gennady Golovkin (42-2-1, 37 KOs) has refused to stay out of the IBF world title. Brazilian journalist Wilson Baldini Jr. informs about it.

“GGG gave up the IBF title. How’s that, Falcao?” – Wilson writes on social media.

Note that Brazilian Esquiva Falcao (30-0, 20 KOs) was a mandatory challenger for the Kazakh title by the IBF (International Boxing Federation). At the same time, IBF has not yet made any official statement. If Golovkin does indeed keep the title, it will become vacant and Falcao will have to fight for it with another boxer.

At the same time, Golovkin is the IBO and WBA Super world champion.
